Karva chauth KabHal:- The festival of Suhagin Aartha is falling on the 17th of October in Karva Chauth year 2019.  On this day women fast for the long life and good health of their husband.  This festival has special significance in Hinduism.  Apart from these fasting women, they also keep virgin girls who are about to get married or have attained the age of marriage.  This fast is kept nirjala and the fast is opened by offering arghya to the moon by worshiping it in the auspicious time during the evening.  Know the glory, rules and history of this fast.  .  .  .  The beginning of this fast happened: It is believed that the tradition of Karvachauth has been going on since the time of the gods.  According to mythology, once war broke out between the gods and the demons and the gods were defeated in that war.  The scared deity went to Brahmadev and prayed for protection from him.  Brahmadev said that in order to avoid this crisis, the wives of all the gods should fast for their husbands and wish them victory with a sincere heart.  Brahmadev promised that by doing so the victory of the gods in this war will be guaranteed.  Everyone accepted this suggestion of Brahmadev.  According to Brahmadev, on the Chaturthi of Kartik month, the wives of all the gods fasted and prayed for the victory of their husbands.  His request was accepted and the gods won the battle.  Hearing this good news, all the dev wives opened their fast and ate their food.  At that time the moon also came out in the sky.  It is believed that from this day the tradition of fasting of Karvachauth started.

Importance of Karva Chauth Vrat: In this fast, there is a law to worship Lord Shiva Shankar, Mata Parvati, Kartikeya, Ganesh and Chandra Devta.  On the day of fasting, it is considered very important to narrate the story.  It is believed that listening to the story of Karvachauth remains a delight for married women, happiness, peace, prosperity comes in their home and children get happiness.  In Mahabharata also, the greatness of Karvachauth is told.  Lord Krishna, while narrating the story of Karvachauth to Draupadi, said that by observing this fast with complete devotion and method, all the sorrows are removed.  Draupadi had also observed the fast of Karva-Chauth by obeying Lord Krishna.  The five Pandavas won the war of Mahabharata only with the effect of this fast.

Rules and precautions for Karva Chauth Vrat:-


1.  The fast of Karva Chauth is kept from sunrise to moonrise.  2 .  This fast should be kept waterless or only by consuming water.  3.  The fasting woman should not wear black and white clothes.  Wearing red and yellow clothes is considered auspicious on this day.  4.  Apart from Suhagin women, this fast can also be kept by girls whose relationship is fixed or the age of marriage.  5.  Women observing fast on this day should do full makeup.  6.  Sargi is a must in this fast.  Before the sun rises in the morning, the mother-in-law gives the sargi, in which the clothes, hawks, as well as fenia, fruit, dryfruit, coconut, etc. are kept.
